When I decided to start studying classical composition with Piet Swerts at the 'Lemmensinstituut' in Belgium back in these years, one of my first 'homeworks' was to write an invention for piano.
The composing of inventions has also become a kind of hobby for me ever since. Whenever I have time and feel like it, I write a new one.
I was able to win the young and very talented pianist András Lakatos as a pianist, which made me very happy and which led to a great collaboration.
