"Somnambul" is a five-movement work for percussion I wrote for the "Fourschlag Percussion Ensemble". The title refers to sleepwalking – that fleeting state between dream and reality. In the coming weeks, a new movement of this five-part work will be released here each week. You can already have a look to the complete score on my freescores website.

Hello everyone, a long-held wish has finally come true:For quite some time, I’ve wanted to create a website where many of my compositions are gathered and accessible.For me, there’s hardly anything more rewarding than knowing that my music isn’t just listened to in videos, but is also performed live – that it continues to live on, instead of disappearing into a drawer after a few concerts.That’s why this site isn’t just about showcasing recordings and videos of my works – it also offers all individual parts and full scores as PDF files, freely available for download – with no paywalls, no subscription requirements, and no hidden strings attached.As so often, it turned out to be a lot more work than expected. My web designer Bastian Ramoser and I spent a long time thinking, testing, and fine-tuning how to make everything as clear and user-friendly as possible – a real challenge!The result is a site that’s intentionally functional. Still, I wanted to give it a few colorful touches – little details to make you smile and feel welcome. The artist Johannes Töws, who has since become a good friend, once again contributed some wonderful illustrations.
